      Blank screen bug: guidance for users to fix the issue

      Fix for Recent App Issue: Steps to Take Next

      Please note that a permanent fix has been deployed for this bug as of Tuesday 7th January, 2025. Please update the EasyPeasy app to the latest version on your mobile device; see guidance for iPhone users and Android users. 

      We are aware of a technical issue that recently affected some EasyPeasy users. A bug caused blank screens and limited access to content for certain users.

      A small number of users may still experience this problem until the app is reset. To ensure your EasyPeasy experience is restored to normal, we kindly ask you to follow these simple steps - please note there are different steps to take depending on if you are using an Android or iOS/Apple device. 

      Android Devices: Steps to clear app data/storage

      1. Go to the main device settings on your phone.
      2. Scroll down and click on 'Apps'.
      3. Find and click on ‘EasyPeasy’.
      4. Go to 'Storage' and click 'Clear Data' or 'Clear Storage' (depending on your device).
      5. Log out and back into the EasyPeasy app.

      iOS/Apple: Uninstall and reinstall the app from your device

      1. Navigate to your device settings.
      2. Click 'General' and then 'iPhone Storage'.
      3. Select 'EasyPeasy' from the list of apps and click 'Delete App'.
      4. Go to the Apple App Store and search 'EasyPeasy' (or click this link). 
      5. Download and log into the app with your existing profile details.

      If you aren’t yet experiencing this issue, we strongly recommend updating to the latest version of the EasyPeasy app to avoid encountering this in future. See guidance for iPhone users and Android users here.
